Fade Harvick in Fontana?

Writing about Kevin Harvick got a tad bit tougher now that NASCAR has left Phoenix.  With the circuit visiting Southern California, questions of a hat trick naturally arise.  Winning his last two races, what are his realistic chances here?   Fontana is going to be the last foray on the West Coast for a while.  Let us look at what the future holds in both this race and the sport in general.

Notorious Slow Starter Even More Dreadful

Think of the Michigan State of NASCAR.  With March Madness in swing, the Spartans have tough starts in the season before finding that higher gear.  In motorsports, Tony Stewart seems to run in a parallel course to them.  Sad starts of seasons are made up for by big pushes near the end but wow what a hole he has dug this time around.  Nudging a 30th in one race was his best result early on.  His love affair with hitting walls is clear this season.  Phoenix he managed to do it twice and barely finish.  Age and a shattered  right leg combined  with that fatal dirt course pedestrian crash has squashed his psyche.  If this familiar haunt does not help him then he is probably done for any significance this season.

Ever got to get a Top Ten it is here.  Wager accordingly.

2014 in the Rear View

We apologize but Martin Truex is still in our sites.  He does well as a grinder with four top tens in a row.  What could be a boon for his fifth in a row is that this course is where the team did extensive work at last fall.  Furniture Row Racing could have expansion possibilities if Martin keeps it up.

Top Ten Wager in Place for Truex

Our hearts, hopes, and prayers go out to Brian Vickers.  Another bout with blood clots has him missing this event.  The familiar #55 car will be driven by Brett Moffitt this weekend.  The pesky blood thinners have him held out as a precautionary measure.  So for Fontana we have to avoid Kevin to win as the odds are not optimal anymore as he is a far too known quantity.  Truex will be good for another top Ten.  Finally,  Tony Stewart needs this one badly and it might behoove you to go with him in another top ten future.  Good luck and we will see you next week here at Apex NASCAR Betting.
