Jeff Gordon Will Break a Record
New Hampshire Motor Speed Way plays host to this Sunday’s 2pm start but coverage begins at 1PM on NBCSN. Joey Logano is your defending champion here. In most scenarios, unless Bowyer or Harvick can pull off a win then they are essentially eliminated from the Chase. Also for the stat gurus, Jeff Gordon will be starting for the 789th straight time. This breaks a long record that Ricky Rudd has. Plenty of other storylines to rail besides the Chase itself this weekend.

- Dale Earnhardt Jr owns this track without ever winning at it. He has done the best of anyone not to win here. Top Three prop free pick for this one mile track.
ACL Worries ?! LOL
Denny Hamlin destroyed the notion that a driver needs two good legs to win. Chicagoland saw him pick up his first title last year. It is too bad for us handicappers that this win gives him an automatic berth into the next round. We do not get to gauge how much fire remains in him. He might actually be a boon and help out other Joe Gibbs Racing drivers. A mystery that eliminates him from our wagering consideration.
Lastly, the “Biffle” has pinged on some radars this week. He will get an excellent price because a) he did not qualify for the chase and b) his season has been horrid. This track plays into his wheel house because he has a win and six top fives in 26 starts here. For a real reach with lottery like payoffs, the Biffle might be for you.
